Remember that tomorrow, January 22, is an on-campus day for BLUE GROUP!

This will be the final day of Blended Learning, with Traditional Learning beginning on Monday, January 25.

All of our teachers have sufficiently prepared to welcome their full-sized classes on Monday, adjusting desk additions to be socially distanced, revisiting seating charts, and planning lessons that allow for social distancing. We will continue our thorough sanitizing and our daily health screenings to assure the safety of everyone here on campus. Some classes are being moved to the Commons and/or the gym.

Please see the time schedule below for the Traditional Learning Time Schedules:

We will follow the Comet Lunch Crunch schedule on Monday and Tuesday.
We will follow the Wednesday/Friday Traditional schedule on those respective days.
We will follow the Late Arrival Schedule on Thursdays.

Parent Nights at SCC

At SCC, we believe that every student is made in the image and likeness of God, and we are focused on helping every student reach his/her own God-given potential.

In this effort, we will be hosting ACT Parent Nights. All parents are encouraged to attend in order to learn more about understanding ACT score reports from our School-wide Testing Day that took place in the fall. During these meetings, our counselors, Suzy Bologna and Kassie deArmas, will give an overview of the materials and scores that our students have already had the opportunity to review here at school. In addition, we will be providing information on TOPS requirements, goal setting, and preparing for our next school-wide test administration in the spring.

Please be aware that we will be observing social distancing, taking temperatures at the entry doors, and wearing masks throughout the meeting.

All nights will start at 6pm and last an hour. In order to pre-register, parents will be sent grade specific emails for each grade with a link to a Google Form that must be completed the day before the date their child's grade-level Parent Meeting. Due to Covid, parents must complete this pre-registration in order to attend.

See the dates below:

Wednesday, January 27 - Seniors
Wednesday, February 3 - Juniors
Tuesday, February 9 - Freshmen
Wednesday, February 10 - Sophomores
Thursday, February 11 - 8th Grade

Scholarship Opportunity

Amitie is holding the second annual Scholarship Essay Program for students in 9th through 12th grades. While winning submissions will earn cash prizes, ($1000 and $500) the biggest “win” is in helping to raise awareness, removing some of the stigma surrounding suicide and hopefully saving the life of a struggling teenager.

And to make sure you feel confident making future travel plans, EF is offering a risk-free enrollment period that our group can take advantage of if we enroll now.

There is still space for our big trip! The $300 scholarship has expired and we are using the following link to enroll.
