Comet News - Sunday, January 3

We hope that you have had a joyful Christmas season and are looking forward to the year ahead. Fall of 2020 was so eventful and memorable, and we're so proud of our Comets for their dedication and accomplishments during this school year so far!

Please note that classes resume on Monday, January 4, 2021 at SCC for Blue Group and Tuesday, January 5, 2021 for Gold Group. Our goal is to return to traditional learning with everyone on campus on January 11, 2021.

Please check for full dress uniforms, nametags, and polished shoes. Please be sure that our young men are shaved and well groomed.

We are looking forward to a blessed and bright 2021. May God grant us all the graces we need to continue strong. Please continue to keep the Decker family in your prayers.

May 2021 be a year of returning to normal and putting COVID-19 behind us. Again, we hope your New Year is off to a good start and that you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas. As we give thanks to the Father for the gift of Jesus, we at SCC give thanks for all of you and for the faith we share.

Go Comets!

New Year's Prayer
God, thank you for a new year. May everyone in our family be willing to begin anew with a clean slate. We know that you are always ready to forgive us. Help us to be willing to forgive ourselves and to forgive one another.

As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values and our deepest desires. Help us to live in the goodness that comes from doing what you want us to do. Help us to put aside anxiety about the future and the past, so that we might live in peace with you now, one day at a time.
