It was an amazing trip that included the official March for Life (1 million in attendance), visits to several monuments and Smithsonian museums, Mass celebrated by Archbishop Aymond, visits to the Basilica to the National Shrine to the Immaculate Conception and the Shrine to Pope John Paul II, Adoration with live worship music, attendance of the Louisiana Right to Life Geaux Forth Rally, and attendance of the Life is Very Good Youth Rally.

Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible! It was truly an unforgettable experience for all involved.

SCC Stagehands Study Drama with Gendusa

In preparation for their Spring show, the SCC Stagehands studied acting & character building with the Loyola University of New Orleans instructor, Patrick C. Gendusa. During the workshop, Gendusa spoke about creativity, focus, character motivation, and studying theatre beyond the high school level.

Stagehands director Greer Millet said of the event, "Patrick is a refreshing new voice for my cast, as many of my students have worked with me in theatre class and on productions for the past several years." The students sang the praises of Mr. Gendusa and his instruction, and they are eager to try-out their new skills in rehearsal for Hello, Dolly!
