The annual carnival ball will be held on Saturday,
February 1 at 7pm in the school gymnasium.
Admission is $10. Student Admission is $5.
Last week, we introduced the Sultan & Sultana, Evan Roussel and Riley Monica. This week, we're proud to present the royal court:

Duke Phillip Allen Tran, son of Dam Tran and Anna Nguyen, with Maid Kirstin Dale Smith, daughter and step-daughter of Ronald Luman and Brittney Smith and Bryan and Leah Castillo.

Live student entertainment will include singing and dancing from our Cheerleaders, Starsteppers, and Stagehands. Songs from Disney’s Aladdin will be featured such as “Arabian Nights” and “A Friend Like You.”
This is an evening for the whole family to enjoy and experience the Carnival tradition, student entertainment, and food & fellowship. Tickets will be on sale in the office beginning January 21 and are available at the door on February 1. Doors open at 6 pm and the Ball will begin at 7pm.
2019-2020 Retreat Team Wrap-Up
SCC would like to give a big thanks to this year's Retreat Team, the group of seniors who planned & facilitated our Retreat Day on the first day of the year and who traveled around the River Parishes to provide retreats for the middle schools of our region.
This year, the Retreat Team visited St. Charles Borromeo, Ascension of Our Lord, & St. Joan of Arc offering grade-level specific retreats based on Colossions 1:17 and the idea of putting "Jesus Over Everything."
We're so glad to have had your willing hearts & loving leadership this year, team!
Thanks for everything!
Pro-Life Lunch & Learn
SCC would like to thank Alex Seagers for joining us yesterday to teach us all about what it means to be "pro-life" and how science can help form our understanding of human dignity & intrinsic value. We had a great turnout! Many of the students in the presentation will be attending the March for Life Pilgrimage next week. Please pray for these students and for the efforts of the pro-life movement!
Starsteppers to Dance in State Competition
Good luck to the Starsteppers who will be competing in the American All-Star State Competition this weekend in Lafayette. The team has been practicing hard for their two routines, and we're so proud of their hard work and dedication! Good luck, ladies!
Congratulations to both the boys’ and girls’ Comet Basketball Teams for their victories! The boys defeated WSJ 45-43 and the girls defeated Newman 61-35.
