JV at Mandeville, Varsity at Ponchatoula Tuesday, March 8th

The JV Comets traveled to Mandeville to compete in an All-Comers Meet. These meets are designed to provide much needed experience to the more novice members of each school’s Track and Field program. Skyler Edwards, Chesney Parker, and Jashan Gaudet each competed in the 100m and 200m Dashes. All three Comets recorded personal best times. Avery Bailey made his Track debut in the 800m Run.

Thursday, March 10th saw the Comets travel to Ponchatoula for the Judy Baehr Relays.
Competing in a field of over 23 teams, the Comet did an outstanding job against mostly upper-classification competition. The following athletes all finished with personal bests during the competition:
Krissten Ellsworth and Makayla Chaney- Javelin
Layla Jackson- 100m Dash
Alejandra Menjivar- 800m Run
Jake Jeandron- Discus
Joseph Haydel and Samare Scott- 100m Dash
