Comet girl's soccer opened up the season with a thrilling win over Country Day. In the first half, Mia Ganote assisted the ball to Sarah Beth Sirmon and the Lady Comets scored their first goal. In the second half Mia Ganote scored 2 points solo down the field for the Lady Comets. With 3 minutes left of the game, a hand ball was called against the Comets and Country Day then had their PK kick. The Lady Comet's goal keeper Mia Oncale blocked the PK kick and the Lady Comets won 3-2! Lady Comets played hard against tough teams in the Dominican tournament. They lost 3-5 against H.L. Bourgeois, 1-6 against Acad. of Sacred Heart, and 0-5 against Louise McGehee.
