Wednesday- April 20, 2016

The Lady Comets finished the regular season with a 22-3 record. Finishing the regular season, the Lady Comets' first home playoff game was against Delcambre on April 18. The Lady Comets ended the game with a victory and are preparing to take on Mangham Dragons, on Saturday at 1p.m for the second round. Come out and support!!!! This game will deter
mine who will take it back "HOME" to Sulphur.

Monday- March 21, 2016

The Comets were undefeated in the Lutcher Tournament this past weeken d beating Central Lafourche, Teurlings Catholic, and Lutcher. The girls are now 12-1 on the season. 

They will face Thomas Jefferson today at home. Good luck ladies!

Wednesday- March 16, 2016

The Comets competed well in the St. Amant tournament March 4th-5th coming out with 2 victories and 1 loss. The girls defeated St. Mary's Academy twice on Monday, March 14th for their first 2 district wins. 

The Lady Comets played their hearts out Tuesday against the Riverside Rebels and came out with a district win by the score of 11-6. The girls were filled with excitement and enthusiasm throughout every inning. The crowd of Comet fans was overwhelming. Senior Destiny Welsey went 2 for 4 with a walk and 2  RBI's. Morgan Nobile, another senior, went 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Both seniors each scored twice.

"This game meant a little more for us. We played hard and it gave us a boost for the rest of our season," said Wesley.

The Comets overall record is now 9-1.The girls will be back in action Thursday against West St. John, and the Lutcher Tournament on Friday and Saturday.

Wednesday- March 2, 2016

The Lady Comets defeated the St. James Wildcats with a score of 16-4. Junior, Madison Cochran was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and sophomore, Pylar Zeringue was 2 for 4. The girls are now 3-0 and will face Ellender at home on Thursday.

Monday- February 29, 2016

In the Comet Classic, the Lady Comets played against Dominican. The Lady Comets started the season with a victory against Dominican, 4-1. Lady Comets next game was against Chalmette with another victory, 15-1. The Lady Comets are 2-0 to kick off the 2015-2016 season. 

Monday - February 15, 2016

The Lady Comets will face Vandebilt in a scrimmage on Tuesday at home. Varsity starts at 4 and JV will follow. 

The Comets will host their annual jamboree on Saturday.
