Regional Track Results
The girls’ and boys’ Track & Field teams competed at the Region III-2A Championships yesterday. The girls' team finished 4th and the boys' team finished 6th. Please congratulate the following on their outstanding performances:
Mya Brown- Regional champion in the shot and discus. Mya was also named the field event's most outstanding competitor.
Krissten Ellsworth- Regional runner up in the Javelin
Kaylee Brown- Regional runner up in the discus
Jahliel Mercadel- Regional runner up in the 200m dash
The boys 4x100m relay team of Kyle Cannon, Prystyn Cambre, Joseph Stovall, and Kayden Cambre were runner-ups.
The boys 4x200m relay team of Jahliel Mercadel, Joseph Stovall, Kayden Cambre, and Prystyn Cambre finished 3rd.
Kayden Cambre finished 3rd in the 100m
Layla Jackson finished 4th in the 100m dash
Kyle Cannon finished 4th in the 100m dash
Dillon Duley finished 5th in the shot put
All top 3 finishes advance to the State Championship Meet at LSU on Friday May 5th.
