The Lady Comets opened up district play with a victory by defeating Covenant Christian 2-0. Mia Ganote scored both goals. 

Defense dominated by limiting the Lions with only two shots on goal and Mia Oncale making two acrobatic blocks. The next district game will be Thursday, January 12th at Houma Christian.
