The Comets went 2-1 in their tournament improving their record to 5-3.

The Comets Notch A Win Against Northlake Christian (Covington, La)

Jason Bosco scored 24 points to bring the Comets to a 55-36 victory over Northlake Christian on Saturday.

A 18-5 run during the first quarter helped the Comets take the lead 33-24 by halftime.

Bosco shot well from the field, making 48% (10-for-21) of shots attempted as well as 36% (4-for-11) of threes attempted.

Joe Mamou sank two three-pointers and scored 22 points total. Also chipping in for the Comets were Owen Bourgeois (5 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals) and Justin Dumas (4 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal).

The Comets finished the game with 26 rebounds (6 offensive / 20 defensive) and 10 steals.joe

The Comets Defeat Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, La)

Jason Bosco scored 25 points to bring the Comets to a 67-41 victory over Thomas Jefferson on Friday.

At the end of a successful first half, the Comets led 31-24 on the strength of a 15-4 run.

Bosco shot well from the field, making 57% (8-for-14) of shots attempted as well as 58% (7-for-12) of threes attempted.

Three other players also scored in the double digits for the Comets. Justin Dumas scored 13 points, Owen Bourgeois put up 10 points, and Joe Mamou contributed 10 points. Also chipping in for the Comets were Tyler Delanuville (6 points, 1 rebound), Reggie Hackett (2 points, 3 rebounds), and White (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal). Dumas was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up four rebounds and five steals.

The Comets finished the game with 24 rebounds (6 offensive / 18 defensive) and nine steals.

The Comets Fall Short Against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, La)

Despite Justin Dumas putting 13 points on the board, the Comets lost to Archbishop Hannan 54-42.

Dumas led St. Charles Catholic's offense, going 3-for-6 (50%) from the field while also sinking 75% (6-for-8) of free throws attempted.

Also contributing for the Comets were Owen Bourgeois (8 points, 4 rebounds), Jason Bosco (8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block), Tyler Delanuville (7 points, 3 rebounds), and Joe Mamou (6 points, 3 rebounds).

The Comets finished the game with 23 rebounds (8 offensive / 15 defensive), one block and one steal.

The Comets will play home on Thursday against Ascension Christian at 7.
