Ministry

St. Charles Catholic High School stands firmly on the foundation of our Lord, Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Reception of and participation in the Sacramental life of the Church is encouraged and celebrated through school-wide Masses, Reconciliation, and Adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Students also receive daily catechesis and dynamic instruction by our Spirit-filled teachers who model a life of prayer. Other faith building activities and  experiences available to our students include but are not limited to retreats, prayer services, rosaries, stations of the cross, the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., Catholic Schools Week, Retreat Team, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), our service program, and archdiocesan supported youth events such as the NOLA Catholic Youth Conference and the CCRNO Youth and Young Adult Retreat.

A true blessing to our SCC Family and community is our Retreat Team composed of seniors who have a strong desire to go out into the wider community to share their experiences of  repentance, grace and surrender to Jesus. Feel free to contact me if you would like more information on our  Retreat Team.

We actively work to prepare disciples, and it is with great hope and faith that we expect our students to encounter Christ, who is our salvation, come to knowledge of the truth, develop a hunger for the Word of God, and experience a renewed thirst for evangelization during their time with us here at St Charles Catholic and beyond.
