  • The SCC Stagehands are back in the business, getting ready for their upcoming spring production. Mrs. Greer Millet, the Stagehands director, recently held auditions for SCC's spring production " Clue: On Stage." The classic board game is brought to life as six guests are invited to a dinner party thrown by an anonymous host. They are all instructed to use a pseudonym, so they do not reveal too much about themselves. The guests are Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, and Miss Scarlet. Though discouraged from revealing personal information, it is soon discovered that all of them have fallen victim to the same blackmailer, their very host of the evening, Mr. Boddy. Each is presented with a weapon and an option: pay their blackmailer double, or kill the innocent butler Wadsworth. What follows is a madcap, slapstick evening full of murder, mystery, and laughs as they seek to puzzle out the culprit amongst criminals. The show will run on April 23 and April 24, 2021. The cast is as follows:

SCC Stagehands

  • The SCC Stagehands is open to all students who enjoy theatre. Its mission is to encourage students to experience various performing arts and support student participation in theatrical activities. The club meets a few times a quarter. Students are expected to participate in club fundraisers for the major Spring Production actively. Its members may be called upon to help with the yearly school production (in March) and actively participate in any fundraisers. The motto of the SCC Stagehands is "there is a place for everyone in the theatre." Membership dues ($10/$5) secure a student's place in the club, and an optional T-shirt is available to order. Any student interested in joining the Stagehands for the school year should stop by the bookrack outside the main office to pick up a Membership Application.
