Cheerleading

  • The cheerleaders have been active and ready since early March, and this summer the Comet Cheerleaders attended UCA camp and held their annual minicamp. The Comet Cheerleaders are currently working hard at weekly practices and cheering on the Comet Football team to victory. Not only do they spend their time supporting all of the school’s organizations, but they are also a competition team. The girls spend Wednesdays at Louisiana Tumble and Cheer Academy (LTCA) in Harahan working on perfecting new skills in tumbling and stunting. For competitions they use choreography from LTCA as well as material learned at UCA summer camp. The team is currently preparing for the LHSAA Game-day Competition this December.

    Congratulations to the 2018-2019 Cheerleaders!
