Emily Meyer, an Oschner trained Athletic Trainer, is in her 2nd year at SCC. She currently teaches the Medical Terminology class, as well as serving as Medical trainer at all athletic events. She graduated from St Mary's Dominican High School in the class of 2016, as well as Southeastern Louisiana University in 2021. Her degrees are as follows: Bachelors of science in Athletic Training; Minor in exercise science. She has a motto that she has said to her athletes for years,” Small Victories". It means every day we need to look for victories, no matter how small, to make it to school safely, etc. She is here to share in and encourage all of the “ Small Victories” we are going to come across this year. Her favorite aspect of SCC is that once you come here you're family. You know everyone once you get here and, no matter what, you are family.
