Connie Powell

Connie Powell is a 1984 graduate of St. Charles Catholic High School and the mother of 3 daughters - Maggie (Class of 2022), Allison (Class of 2022), and Erin (Class of 2023). Mrs. Powell joins SCC as the Director of Development and Human Resources and serves as the Academic Games Team Moderator. Mrs. Powell is also a member of Comet Family and Friends Club. After graduating from SCC, Mrs. Powell attended the College of Business at Loyola University in New Orleans, where she earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance in 1987. She then earned a Juris Doctorate from the LSU's Paul M. Hebert School of Law in Baton Rouge in 1922. Prior to joining SCC, Mrs. Powell practiced law and served as an Assistant Parish Attorney for Planning and Zoning in Jefferson Parish, was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Legal Studies in the College of Business at Loyola University, and a member of Loyola's Board of Alumni. She was also the Director of the Bar Review at LSU's Paul M. Hebert School of Law, and a Project Manager and Contributing Author at Dalton Publications. One of her favorite quotes about high school is "We didn't realize we were making memories we just knew we were having fun."
