2016 “Run For Son” Race Results
The 16th annual FCA “ Run for the Son” was held Saturday, October 29, at St Charles Catholic High School. A mild and humid morning greeted the over 100 participants who took to the streets of Laplace for a one-mile fun run and 5K race.
One-mile race winners were SCC junior Nick Roberts (5:37) and Miranda Nichols (6:13). The winners of the 5K race were Mallorie Nicholls (24:12) and Geoffrey Michel (21:24).
SCC student winners by grade level in the one-mile race were Blakely Heltz (8), Tyler Boudreaux (8), Mallory Fernandez (9), Gregory Bergeron (9), Eden Simoneaux (10), Nick Lorio (10), Shana Breaux (11), Darrin Blystad (11), Morgan Torres (12), Jayce Tamplain (12).
The SCC student winner by grade level in the 5K was senior Brandon Lemoine.
The 5K race winners by age group were Chloe Bergeron, Christina Bergeron, Leslie Faucheux, Elisa Chapman, Tyler Milioto, Justin Loupe, Robert Connor, Daman Miliioto, and Kent Broussard.
Top ten finishers in the 5K female division were Mallorie Nichols, Morgan Nobile, Miranda Nichols, Elisa Chapman, Leslie Faucheux, Erin Roussel, Rachel Hotard, Christina Bergeron, Laura Breaux, and Chloe Bergeron,
Top ten finishers in the 5K male division were Geoffrey Michel,, Tyler Milioto, Damon Milioto, Wesley Breaux, Robert Connor, Brandon Lemoine, Jeffery Gassen, Ryan Forsythe, Justin Loupe, and Paul Jensen.
SCC Alumni winners in the one-mile were Colin Bosco and Heather Roussel, and in the 5K race Morgan Nobile and Jeff Gassen.
Proceeds from the race will benefit St. Charles Catholic Fellowship of Christian Athletes and help support their participation in summer camps.
FCA "Run for the Son" 2015 Race Results
The 15th annual FCA “ Run for the Son” was held Saturday, October 10, at St Charles Catholic High School. A nice cool October morning greeted the 227 participants who took to the streets of Laplace for a one-mile fun run and 5K race.
One-mile race winners were SCC senior Morgan Nobile (6:41) and Ben Bergeon (5:32). The winners of the 5K race were SCC senior Danielle Rankin (24:48) and David Hodges (20:25).
SCC student winners by grade level in the one-mile race were Kevin Daunhauer (8), Estelle Lualhati (8)i, Jason Bosco (9), Hannah Lowry (9), Darrin Blystad (10), Zoe Zaidain (10),Jayce Tamplain (11), Lynsey Maurin (11), Justin Dubose (12) and Sara Louque (12). The SCC student winner by grade level in the 5K was junior Andrew Rodrigue. SCC junior Brandon Lemoine won the 14-18 age group.

Top ten finishers in the 5K female division were Danielle Rankin, Michelle Jensen, Lori Noel, Mikie Richoux, Paige Falgoust, Laura Breaux, Erin Roussel, Lacey St. Pierre, Leslie Faucheux, and Kelly Arnett,
Top ten finishers in the 5K male division were David Hodges, Kenneth Massett, Andrew Rodrigue, Brandon Lemoine, Tyler Milioto, Damon Milioto, Darrin Blystad, Joseph Richard, Jeffery Gassen, and Paul Jensen.
SCC Alumni winners in the one-mile were Colin Bosco and Elise Loisel, and in the 5K race Michelle Jensen. SCC also welcomed home Brittany Vicknair Grunberg (Class of 2004) who participated in the race for the first time since 2004, Brittany was an inspiration to all who participated in the race.
