St. Charles Catholic High School is an all-inclusive college preparatory high school offering both Advanced Placement and dual enrollment courses.  In addition, St. Charles Catholic High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, approved by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Schools and affiliated with the National Catholic Educational Association.

The enrollment of 413 represents more than 14 church parishes. Faculty and students are continuing with our 1:1 program with Apple iPads and laptops. Maintaining our status as a technology leader in the River Parishes, SCC students utilize the many applications that Apple offers in order to enhance the curriculum. Teachers are incorporating interactive panels and iPads into their daily instruction. Students use the iPad while participating in critical thinking, analysis and research within the classroom and at home.  The two new computer labs provide space for our digital design, multi-media and code classes.

The academic development of the student is accomplished through three programs of study – an honors program (including Advanced Placement courses in English, civics, American history, language and composition); an academic program; and a standard program. Students are assigned to a program based on their individual academic abilities and on the results of the standard high school placement test.
