Admissions Process

St. Charles Catholic High School follows the Admissions Timeline dictated by the Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Schools for 8th and 9th-grade admissions.

For non-Catholic elementary school 8th & 9th grade applicants, St. Charles Catholic requests that parents gather their child’s cumulative elementary school records, which include:

  • Current first-quarter report card
  • Final year-end report card from the previous two years
  • Transcripts and Standardized test scores for the last three school years

For 8th-grade applicants who attend an Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic Elementary School:

  • St. Charles Catholic follows the Admissions Timeline dictated by the Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Schools for 8th-grade admissions
  • Return the Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic High Schools Application Form for 8th Grade to your Elementary School Principal by Friday, November 15, 2024
  • The applicant’s Elementary School will send copies of all academic records to the high school of the applicant’s choice by Tuesday, November 18, 2024 (subject to change)

The following considerations are used in admitting prospective students to St. Charles Catholic High School:

  • The student's desire to attend St. Charles Catholic
  • Cumulative elementary school record
  • An interview with each applicant
