Stagehands

The SCC Stagehands welcomes any current SCC student to become a part of the world of performing arts, whether cast, crew, or audience member. There is a place for everyone in theatre. Its mission is to encourage students to experience various performing arts and support student participation in theatrical activities. The club meets a few times a quarter. Students are expected to participate in club fundraisers for the major Spring Production actively. Its members may be called upon to help with the yearly school production (in March) and actively participate in any fundraisers. The motto of the SCC Stagehands is "there is a place for everyone in the theatre." Membership dues ($10/$5) secure a student's place in the club, and an optional T-shirt is available to order. Any student interested in joining the Stagehands for the school year should stop by the book rack outside the main office to pick up a Membership Application.

The 2024-2025 year will be extremely busy with producing the following events—Comet Christmas, Broadway a la Carte 4 ( featuring alumni and current Stagehands), Carnival Ball Entertainment, and the Spring Production at SJT!
