Drumline

SCC's Drumline is open to all SCC students in grades 8th-12th. Established in 2012, and under the direction of Coach Jeremiah Murphy and Sponsor Kassie DeArmas, the Drumline performs at the Pep Rallies, home and away football games and other designated events. The Drumline is also featured on the field with the Star Steppers. We are looking for people wanting to play the following instruments: cymbals, snare drum, bass drum and quints. This year there are 18 members, and it is still growing. This year we will begin incorporating half time shows during the football season.  Our goal is to be well known in the community and work together as a team! 

The Drumline performed at New Orleans Superdome in 2016 and 2023 for the State Football Championship Game. They also perform at several school events.

The Drumline meets twice a week for practices in the band room #182. Annual fees are $150.00.
