Ms. deArmas is in her third year working with students and families at SCC. She is a graduate of Indiana State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and minoring in Counseling. She is also a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University earning a Master's in School Counseling. Prior to coming to SCC, Ms. deArmas interned as a school counselor for a year and a half, which helped her earn her degree. She focused on helping the students with social/emotional and academic needs. Ms. deArmas also serves as the Individual Needs Coordinator and Test Accommodations Coordinator for standardized tests, such as the ACT and AP exams.
