Wayne A. Stein Jr., Athletic Director. This is his 19th year as a teacher at St. Charles Catholic, but his 20th year as a coach. As a Comet alumnus of 1999, Stein earned his Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a concentration in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is the Head Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach. Coach Stein led the football program to a State Championship and the baseball program to its second State Championship in baseball in 2021-2022. Coach Stein believes that whatever challenge is given to a student at SCC they will give the ultimate effort to accomplish that goal.
