    After mass on Tuesday, February 21, the senior personality awards and class favorites were announced. The senior class voted on the personality awards, and each class voted on their class favorites.

  • All-Star Foundation Scholarship Winners

    The ALL-Star Foundation Scholarship was created by Todd P. Trosclair. Trosclair graduated from St. Charles Borromeo High School in 1977 where he was very active in sports and clubs.

  • Marie Ory Dupont Scholarship Winner

    The Marie Ory Dupont $2500 SCC Tuition scholarship was created by Marie’s family and friends as a way to pay it forward to other students and their families in order to continue with a Catholic education at SCC.

  • Krewe de Charles Bal Masque XXXI Celebrated at SCC

    St. Charles Catholic High School recently held its 31st Carnival Ball. The theme for this year’s Royal Court members of the Krewe de Charles Bal Masque XXXI was “What a Wonderful World.” The Carnival Ball at St. Charles Catholic High School is a tradition for the school and the entire community.

  • SCC Announces Royal Court Members

    St. Charles Catholic High School recently announced the Royal Court members of the Krewe de Charles Bal Masque XXXI, “What A Wonderful World.” The annual carnival ball will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 7pm in the school gymnasium. The Carnival Ball at St. Charles Catholic High School is a tradition for the school and the entire community. Admission is $10.

  • Capital Campaign Groundbreaking Ceremony

    St. Charles Catholic High School will be holding a prayer service for the groundbreaking for the new Chapel and school renovations on December 20, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. We will be joined by Bishop Cheri and the school Chaplain, Father Austin.

    Shelby Reine signed her National Letter of Intent with Texas A & M Equestrian at St. Charles Catholic High School. The room was filled with administrators, teachers, students, and family showing their support.

    #iGiveCatholic is an online giving event for people across the nation (and the world!) to come together to raise as much money as possible for Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries on one day: #GivingTuesday, November 29, 2016. Last year, Mr. and Mrs. Flynn were the first to log-on early in the morning and give to SCC through iGiveCatholic.org.

  • SCC Crowns Homecoming Queen

    St. Charles Catholic High School students and alumni recently celebrated homecoming. The celebration included a motorcade featuring the homecoming court wearing suits and riding in shiny convertibles, followed by the crowning of the homecoming queen took place at halftime. The SCC Homecoming Court members were voted on by their peers.

  • Johnson Chosen Chevron Scholar Athlete

    St. Charles Catholic High School Senior Kayla Johnson was very recently chosen as the female recipient of the Chevron Scholar Athlete of the Week award by the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Quarterback Club. Kayla was recognized at their weekly luncheon at the The Cannery in New Orleans.

  • National Merit Program Recognizes Bergeron

    Christopher Bergeron was recently named as a Commended Student in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.

  • 2016 Homecoming

    St. Charles Catholic High School’s homecoming court is always made up of 13 young ladies from grades 8th to 12th. The ladies are voted on by their classmates. The court is presented before the game after the motorcade and again at half-time by alumni escorts. The queen will be announced at half-time. The SCC Homecoming Dance will follow on Saturday, October 29th and is sponsored by the SCC student council. In addition, the SCC sponsors dress down and other activities throughout the homecoming week.

  • Athletic Physicals

    All SCC athletes must pick up a physical form from in front of the office or on the bookshelf today.  All athletes, Starsteppers, and Cheerleaders must have a current LHSAA physical on file for the 2017-18 school year. Physical Day is Friday, May 26 from 12:00-2:00 in the SCC Commons.

    Thank you again for a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Week! We are proud of our baseball team as they traveled to Sulphur for the state semifinals – great season Comets! As we enter into the final weeks of the school term, opportunities remain for our students to be challenged and recognized – from final exams to the sports banquet and Ring Ceremony this weekend to the homeroom mini-award ceremonies next week! May God’s light continue to shine on you and your families.
