We understand that choosing a high school is an important milestone within your life and an awesome transitional experience as you grow-up, not only in grade number but spiritually as well. SCC offers a family and Christ-centered environment where you can be someone or something. We offer more than 18 girls and boys sports, a number of clubs and organizations and many ways for you to be involved with service to your community. 

St. Charles Catholic High School is an all-inclusive college preparatory high school, that is equivalent to or exceeds its counterparts in southeastern Louisiana in many areas such as ACT scores, percentage of students going to college (95%), and percentage of scholarship recipients.

SCC offers four levels of courses– Standard, Academic, Honors, and Advanced Placement. The schedule includes various electives which encourage “hands-on” learning. Many students receive college credit from taking the Advanced Placement test for the specialized subject. In addition, we also offer programs for a limited number of students who are headed for vocational and technical college.

SCC offers EXPLORE, the PLAN, and the PSAT. Over the past five years, approximately 94% of our students completed the ACT; from 2001-2005 and average of 115 students took the PLAN test; and from 2003-2006 an average of 49 students took the PSAT.

Over the past five years, we have maintained above 90% participation in the taking of the ACT exam. Since 2004, students' composite scores on the ACT have been above national levels. Concerning the PLAN test, our students have consistently scored above the national mean PLAN score since 2001, with particular strengths shown in English, Reading, and Science. On average, approximately 20% of our students enroll in Advanced Placement courses offered at our school.
